These pages are primarily provided as an information source to members about activities coming up. It also gives prospective members an idea of the activities we conduct at the club.
Club Activities are all those social occasions and courses being conducted at the club house or field trips. Members, if you wish to participate in one of these activities you should place your name on the nomination sheet, on the club house notice board, either yourself or by contacting the duty officer at any session. These activities are only open to members of the North Brisbane Lapidary Club.
Members of other QLACCA affiliated clubs - The members of NBLC are prepared to allow members of other QLAACA affiliated clubs to attend if there is a vacancy on one of the courses. You should contact the club Secretary if you wish to attend. You will be a reserve until its known if there is a vacancy and will be contacted if you have a place. This may be at the last minute, should there be a late withdrawl.
Enquiries about running one of these course expressly for members of other clubs is being considered and if you would like to express your interest in having a course run for your club please contact the Secretary.
Gemmology workshops held every Wednesday are open to any member that has completed one of the beginner courses held either at the club or Ross's House. Please bring all your tools and note books to the sessions.
Ray Wilson has set up a Field Trip Blog for members to keep up on what's happening on the Major Field Trip. You have to register to use it only if you wish to reply or leave comments about what they're getting up to. Anyone can just log on and read the blog.

There is rarely a January Newsletter as most members, including the Editor, are on holidays.
