Welcome to the Home Page of the North Brisbane Lapidary Club, NBLC.

The NBLC is a very active club, constantly seeking to improve the activities and facilities we offer our members and to introduce new activities.

The aims of the club are

• to promote the enjoyment and appreciation of lapidary crafts,
• to provide members with lapidary skills in the various activities we offer,
• provide quality facilities and equipment for club members to carry out their lapidary hobby,
• conduct field trips to gem localities to fossick for material to be used in members hobby.

Currently we offer.

• Faceting of Gemstones
• Cabochoning of Gemstones
• Metal Smithing in both Gold and Silver
• Lost Wax Casting
• Beading
• Field Trips to collect new material.
• In 2008 we will introduce Working with Precious Metal Clay (PMC)
