Welcome to the Home Page of the North Brisbane Lapidary Club, NBLC.
The NBLC is a very active club, currently with 221 members, that is constantly seeking to improve the activities and facilities we offer our members and to introduce new activities.
The aims of the club are
to promote the enjoyment and appreciation of lapidary crafts,
to provide members with lapidary skills in the various activities we offer,
provide quality facilities and equipment for club members to carry out their lapidary hobby,
conduct field trips to gem localities to fossick for material to be used in members hobby.
Currently we offer.
Faceting of Gemstones
Cabochoning of Gemstones
Metal Smithing in both Gold and Silver
Lost Wax Casting
Field Trips to collect new material.
